COMAHS Admission… Magistrate Jah Remands Student For Forging WAEC Result

Sahid Kargbo, a student, has been sent to the male correctional facility in Freetown by Magistrate Mustapha Brima Jah of Pademba Road Court No1 on three count charges, to wit: Conspiracy to defraud contrary to law, Forgery contrary to section 4 (1) Forgery Act of 1913 and Uttering forged document contrary to section 6 (1) (2) of the Forgery Act 1913

According to the particulars of offence, on Tuesday 12th May 2026 at college of Medicine and Allied Health Science, Connaught campus in the western area, Freetown, the defendant, with intent to defraud, conspired together with other persons unknown to defraud College of Medicines and Allied Health Science, University of Sierra Leone

Count two further stated that on the above date and place the defendant, with intent to defraud, forged certain document, to wit: one West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) result with candidate number 7021003204, purporting that it was prepared, and issued to him by West Africa Examination Council (WAEC)

Count three further stated that on the above date and place, the defendant with intent to defraud, uttered one West Africa Examination council WAEC result with candidate number 70210003204 knowing same to be forged

When the charges were read and explained to the defendant, no plea was taken because it is a committal proceedings.

The Prosecutor, DPC 17649 Brima Kargbo, intimated the Magistrate that he has served the defendant with a copy of the case and inquiry file

Meanwhile Magistrate Jah refused bail and sent the defendant to the male correctional facility in freetown and the matter was adjourned to the 29th June 2026.
