Fifty one years old Joseph Kpana, a driver, and seventeen years old Adams Bayoh, a security, made their first appearance before Magistrate Mustapha Braima Jah of Pademba Road Court No.1 on two count charges, to wit: conspiracy contrary to law and house breaking and Larceny contrary to section 26 (1) of the larceny Act 1916
According to the particulars of offence, on Saturday 14th February 2026 at #3 Grace Land off peninsular Road, Goderich in the western area of Freetown, conspired together with other persons unknown to commit a felony, to wit: house breaking and Larceny.
Count two further stated that on the same date and place the second defendant, with intent to steal, broke and entered into the dwelling house of Otolorin Williams and stole therein one Microsoft surface pro 11 laptop computer and other assorted items, all to the total value of two hundred and fifty nine thousand four hundred and seventy eight Leones(NLe 259478) property of Otolorin Williams
When the charges were read and explained to the defendants, they pleaded not guilty
The Prosecutor, Chief Superintendent of Police, Tommy B Zizer Esq. intimated the bench that he has served the defendants with a bundle of their witness statements.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Jah refused bail and sent both defendants to the male correctional facility in freetown. The matter was adjourned to the 16th April 2026
