Magistrate Fornah Orders Complainant To Appear In Court

Three men have appeared before Magistrate John Manso Fornah at Pademba Road Magistrate Court No. 2 in Freetown to answer allegations of malicious damage to property at Hill Station.
The accused are Joseph Bunduka, alias Maada, a technician of Fadika Drive, Hill Station; Ibrahim Kanu, a student from Cassava Farm; and Augustine Kamara, a mason residing at Motormeh, Regent. They are jointly charged with one count of malicious damage, contrary to Section 25 of the Malicious Damage Act of 1861.
According to the charge sheet, the accused allegedly damaged a retaining wall valued at Le40,000 and a makeshift structure worth Le2,500 belonging to Santigie Sesay and Aminata Conteh. The alleged offence is said to have occurred on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, at Kia Kamara Drive, Hill Station, Freetown.
When the charge was read and explained in court, all three accused pleaded not guilty.
During the hearing, Police Constable 18235 TKK informed the court that the complainant was absent and requested that a subpoena be issued to compel the attendance of the prosecution witness at the next hearing.
Magistrate Fornah granted the prosecution’s application and adjourned the matter to 29 July 2026 for further proceedings.
